If your kitty is your baby—and what cat isn’t??—you want to celebrate them on their birth or Gotcha day. First, pick a Purr-fect theme based on your cat’s personality! Is your kitty pure royalty? Crowns, velvet, gold accents. Laid back Parrothead? – Palm leaves, pineapple toys, fishy treats. Space Cadet? Silver streamers, stars, alien toys. Or simple Classic Chic ? – Pinks, whites, and paw-shaped balloons.
You may choose to invite other cat parents, designing your own invites on art programs, and including RSVP instructions and cat compatibility guidelines (aka: “Is your cat chill
with others?”)
You can invite by social media with a custom hashtag like #WhiskersTurns5 !
Decorations are your vibe setter. Will your kitty want to wear a party hat or bow? (Mine would kill me first.) Balloons, streamers, garlands, or photo walls with their pics make it theirs. You might even build a “throne” area (pillows, a cardboard castle, or a cozy chair).
What kind of treats can you serve?
For cats–
Catnip cupcakes (DIY or store-bought).
Tuna or salmon treats shaped like little cakes.
Freeze-dried chicken or fish.
“Champagne” made from tuna water.
For humans:–
Paw-print cookies.
Mini cupcakes with kitty toppers.
Themed drinks: “Meowgaritas” or “Mim-paws-as”
Games & Activities: You might include are feather wands and laser pointers galore, cat tunnels, pop-up boxes, and puzzle toys.
Want to set up a ball pit with treats hidden inside? How fun! Or a DIY obstacle course for the adventurous.
Send guests home with: mini catnip toys, treat samples, or a cute photo of their cat taken at the party.
Just be prepared for the fact it’s your cat’s party. They’re likely to lie down in the middle of the floor and sleep through the whole darn thing,
